1) I think this is the fear of being alone. 2) I believe you were successful in capturing that because i was able to tell right away because theres a kid sitting alone in front of a lake and its black and white which makes it look almost sad. 3) One constructive criticism comment would maybe make the word of what the fear is blend into he picture more so that the focus is more on the kid.
This is the fear of being alone. The photo was successful because the little boy is sitting alone sad. I would have maybe moved the word to a different part of the picture.
