Gottfried Helnwein Image Continued

The image of "The Last Girl" is very large. It is put on a wall of a big building. It almost covers the entire building. It is a close up picture of a small girl's face. The girl's skin is very white, she has bright blue eyes, and her lips are chapped. Her skin also looks very white and fair. She has light brown, curly hair. There are multiple construction workers who are putting up the large image. It looks like one continuous picture, rather than a bunch of images put together, but it is also kind of hard to tell. To be able to mount the photo, you have to have a whole crew to help. It is a gigantic photo that needs a lot of bolts to stay up on the wall. It also has to be very secure because if it were to fall down, it wouldn't be good at all. Because of this, I think the size of the image says that it is very important and popular to many people in Ireland.

The location looks very industrial. This is because there are a couple buildings that are in the image, but they all look more like factories rather than nice city buildings. It is also located on the back of a building, right on the water. Given this, I think that people who are on a boat are more likely to see the picture. I think this is the audience that the picture was intended for. Anyone who is on a cruise or a boat is usually a tourist or visitor. This means that they are kind of trying to advertise the photo and show that everyone that this picture is important to them. The mood of this image is very sad and lonely. The girl's face is very solemn and that kind of portrays the mood of the picture. She looks kind of depressed and melancholy.
